Service Description

In this cookie decorating class, we will learn basic flooding, wet-on-wet, applying pre-made transfers, and more, including a brief lesson on color theory. We will be decorating a total of 4 full size cookies + 2 mini cookies during this class. We will cover broad basics of making royal icing, but we will not go into detail on baking the actual sugar cookies. The main focus is decorating which is the fun part! After class, I will provide a few sites that you can download or purchase sugar cookie and royal icing recipes for you to try at home that come highly recommended in the cookie community. This class will last no longer than 2 1/2 hours (typically lasts around 2 hours). Water will be provided and some light snacks, but you may bring your own wine, etc. You will receive an email the week of the event with a reminder showing the location again, as well as a map noting where to park. Once you park, you will enter the lobby through the right most sliding doors and the meeting room is located behind the front desk of the Comfort Inn Hotel side (located on the right once inside). The sliding doors on the left will be closed with only key card access for the Independent Living community residents to enter only. This event has a no refund policy due to needing a certain head count in order to hold the class at the location.
